Robert Half is working with a leading media and advertising group in Central London to recruit a permanent
Management Accountant
into their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced management accountant with revenue recognition experience or a background in media/advertising to take ownership of key finance processes and gain exposure across the business.
The business operates across multiple markets and offers regular engagement with senior stakeholders, providing a broad view of financial operations within a dynamic media environment.

About the Position
Reporting into the Finance Lead, you will play a critical role in the preparation and analysis of management accounts, month-end and year-end processes, and supporting group reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts reconciled to the trial balance.
Calculation of accruals using IFRS principles and preparation of journals.
Leading monthly variance analysis against budget and forecasts and managing exception reporting.
Ensuring all supporting schedules tie back to the P&L and balance sheet.
Ownership of month-end processes and compliance with internal controls.
Providing information and schedules to auditors for interim and year-end audits.
Preparing management and external numbers and liaising with international teams for reporting.
Contributing to process improvements and ad hoc finance projects.

What we're looking for
Experienced management accountant (PQ/finalist welcome).
Strong understanding of revenue recognition and management accounting processes.
Experience in media or advertising finance is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills, with attention to detail.
Intermediate Excel skills and comfort working with finance systems such as BFC or Media Ocean (desirable).
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
