Teaching Assistant – Schools in Horncastle & Alford
Location: Horncastle & Alford
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Long-term / Day-to-day
GSL Education is seeking caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support schools across Horncastle and Alford. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children and young people and want to make a positive difference in education.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and pupils to support learning, encourage engagement, and help create a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students in lessons on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
* Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
* Encourage positive behaviour and participation
* Provide support for students with additional learning needs where required
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
* A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for education
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
