National Sales Manager

Macgregor Black are partnering with a Growing Toy/Educational Business on the search for a National Sales Manager. This is a permanent role based in East Anglia.
As the National Sales Manager, youwill be responsible for driving sales growth across the UK, with key UK retailers. You’ll lead strategic account planning, new business development, and channel management, while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and manage national account relationships within the education sector and major UK retail chains
* Deliver annual sales targets and margin goals through effective planning, negotiation, and execution
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across B2B education providers and retail partners
* Lead account forecasting, promotional planning, and performance analysis
* Collaborate with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure strong customer service and brand positioning
* Attend key trade shows, school supply exhibitions, and retail buyer meetings
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy
* Line management of one or more regional sales staff (as needed)
What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years’ experience in national sales or key account management, preferably within toys, education, or FMCG
* Proven track record of managing UK key retail accounts and/or educational buyers/distributors
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and relationship-building abilities
* Excellent understanding of the UK retail landscape and education supply market
* Willingness to travel across the UK for customer meetings and events
* Full UK driving license
