About the School
Rossendale is a day school catering for the needs of pupils who are autistic and academically able. All pupils have a draft or final Education, Health and Care Plan. The School provides education for young people aged from 7 to 18 years of age. Key stages 3 and 4 are based at the main school site, whilst Key stage 2 and 5 are based at our campus which is in the local community. At Key stage 4 and 5 we offer a wide range of GCSE subjects, BTEC Awards, Functional Skills, ASDAN and Entry Level qualifications and A level courses at the sixth form provision. Given the disrupted nature of our pupils’ education, prior to their admission to Rossendale, we have had some outstanding examination results. The school admits both boys and girls.
As part of Aspris Children’s Services, we are immensely proud of the career pathway and training we can offer you. We ask that you can demonstrate the values needed for a role, transferable skills and life experience and in return we will give you all the training and support you need to progress.

About You
The successful candidate will have experience in supporting Senior Management teams to provide best results that will impact the service as a whole. You must also have experience of taking charge of a variety of staff teams, and have the ability to manage workloads whilst supporting colleagues within their roles. As a Senior Administrator, you will be expected to accurately report information and ensure continuous quality of operational services.
In order to carry out the role, you must have the following skills:
* Resilience: We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
* Communication: Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Positive working relationships, good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
