Location: Nottingham, Riverside Bakery
Salary: £27,800 per annum
Job Purpose:
Ensure that products are picked and dispatched according to the outload plan, maintaining traceability and temperature control. Organize the pick area, fridges, and freezers to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
Key Duties:
* Supply products to customers accurately and on time, following outload plans.
* Pick customer products as instructed and required.
* Maintain pallet/dolly labels for gun use and customer requirements.
* Assist in picking products from the freezer when needed.
* Maintain equipment in good condition and report issues promptly.
* Use equipment safely and report accidents or near misses.
* Keep stock organized and in correct locations.
* Follow FIFO to rotate stock.
* Identify stock needed for daily orders.
* Record stock details accurately at specified times.
* Consolidate, book in, and scan products as required.
* Perform any reasonable task assigned by management.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Achieve 99% picking accuracy to reduce returns.
* Complete paperwork clearly and accurately.
* Average of 4 pallets per hour per person.
* No penalty charges from M&S for RFID non-compliance.
* Report issues affecting safety, customer service, stock, or equipment.
