Let us introduce the role
Working within Operations Management and Planning, this role would be working within a team responsible for managing incoming demand, creation of long-range capacity plans, and detail scheduling activities within the production area.
Working in a highly regulated environment, alongside our multi-functional Operations teams, the role of the Production Planner is to ensure on-time delivery is achieved, whilst ensuring use of critical resources are maximised, and communication within the supply chain is proactive and accurate.
These roles are ideally suited to candidates with demonstrable experience of working within a manufacturing environment, whilst using industry standard production control techniques and MRP systems.
Due to the classified nature of the work involved, there are limited opportunities to work from home with these roles. It is anticipated that the successful candidates will spend the majority of their time working on site at AWE.
