Take the leap and dive into a new role as an Assistant/Field Service Technician! As part of the Field Services team, you will carry out installation, calibration and maintenance of Detectronic's Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network. There may also be a requirement to travel to other parts of the UK when needed.
Responsibilities
• Carry out installation, calibration and maintenance of Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network, working safely and independently or with a two‑ or three‑person crew.
• Diagnose problems and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Ability to work safely and effectively on your own or as part of a crew installing and maintaining equipment onsite.
* Hands‑on, practical, and resourceful – you will be required to enter confined spaces.
* Full clean UK driving licence with at least 2 years’ experience, as a larger vehicle will be used.
* Comfortable working outside in all weathers and in confined spaces.
* Professional courtesy when accessing manholes at homes or business sites.
* Health, Safety and Environment training – CSCS, Confined Space with Entry Controller (medium risk), NRSWA (Unit 2: Signing, Lighting and Guarding) and First Aid at Work (3‑day certificate). Please let us know if you already hold any of these or other certificates.
