Business Development Manager – 3PL Fulfilment People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager – 3PL Fulfilment to join our well-established client who are a fast-growing 3PL fulfilment client based in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling business where you won't just be selling a service — you'll help shape the commercial growth strategy. The business supports ambitious eCommerce brands across fashion, lifestyle and consumer goods, helping them scale operations through flexible fulfilment solutions. This role offers genuine progression with a clear pathway towards senior leadership as the company expands. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 weekends Salary: £55,000 plus £5,000 car allowance Benefits include: Field-based autonomy Clear progression to Head of Sales Fast-growing and entrepreneurial business Opportunity to build and shape the sales function Work with exciting eCommerce brands Long-term career development Day-to-day duties: As a Business Development Manager – 3PL Fulfilment, your duties will include (but not be limited to): Owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding Generating new business through outbound activity, partnerships and events Building and managing a strong sales pipeline Presenting fulfilment solutions to SME and mid-market brands Negotiating commercial agreements and closing deals Collaborating with operations and IT teams to design workable solutions Growing accounts through upselling value-added services Representing the business at exhibitions and networking events Supporting and shaping the company's overall sales strategy Essential skills: To be successful as a Business Development Manager – 3PL Fulfilment, you will need: 3–5 year's experience within a 3PL, fulfilment or logistics sales environment Proven ability to generate and win new business (hunter mentality) Experience selling to eCommerce brands Strong commercial and negotiation skills Ability to build relationships with decision-makers Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset Comfortable working in a scaling business environment Desirable experience: Existing network of contacts within eCommerce or retail brands Knowledge of pick & pack, returns, or value-added services (e.g. branded packaging, kitting) Experience attending trade shows or industry networking events Understanding of pricing models, rate cards and solution design Training: Full training will be provided, with ongoing development support.
