First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support product/process design and development activities. Ensure risk analysis is complete, using DFMEAs, PFMEAs, APQP, Capability Studies, and other risk management techniques.
2. Access and maintain technical documentation using a PDM system. Read complex drawings and apply/interrogate product specifications.
3. Develop policies, procedures, and methods to check product, material, components, and operational quality.
4. Develop and implement complex methods and procedures for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure product quality.
5. Perform QMS and product audits against ISO9001 and AS9100 standards, identifying actions to maintain product and process quality.
6. Complete FAI reporting of products, prepare relevant forms per customer requirements, and perform report approval.
7. Investigate concerns and fully comply with resolution processes.
8. Support supplier, process, and customer quality improvement activities, including interfacing with supplier quality representatives and supporting corrective actions and improvement programs.
9. Assist in resolving issues within factory operations groups.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Ability to read technical drawings and work with specifications
* Experience supporting DFMEA/PFMEA
* Experience with AS9100 and related standards
* Experience using measuring equipment
* Experience dealing with production problems and applying corrective actions to ensure quality
* Root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving skills
