Transport Administrator required to work within a friendly team.
As part of the transport team you will deal with customers, answering and responding to all incoming calls in a prompt and polite manner.
Monitor and manage tachograph infringements and driver hours.
Ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, MOTs, and defect reports.
Ensure all ADR regulations are followed for hazardous goods transport.
Support transport operations with compliance-related administration.
Liaise with drivers to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance policies.
Provide training and briefings to drivers on compliance matters.
Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
Scheduling transport and arranging for customs clearance in conjunction with freight forwarders.
Track shipments to ensure that goods arrive on time and in good condition.
