Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Accrington area, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years setting from September 2026. This role is to support a brand-new intake of pupils, making it a fantastic opportunity to help shape children’s first experiences of education.
Responsibilities
* Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Assisting with the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
* Supporting the class teacher with observations, assessments and progress tracking
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
* Encouraging social, emotional and communication development
* Working collaboratively with staff to support the needs of all pupils
Qualifications
* A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
* Experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
* A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* A proactive, nurturing, and positive approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting early childhood development
