Job Description
Position: Mechanical Engineering Lecturer
Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Ongoing)
Location: Greater Manchester
Rate: £40 - £50 per hour
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and practical lessons in engineering, including milling, turning and CNC
* Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and provide timely feedback to students
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of course content across multiple engineering disciplines
* Monitor and report on student progress, attendance, and engagement
Requirements
* Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
* Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge and experience in engineering
* Ability to engage and motivate learners with diverse backgrounds
* Flexible approach to teaching and ability to adapt to changing schedules
* DBS check required
