A leading regional Legal 500 law firm are seeking a Criminal Solicitor to join their Thames Valley office. The location is listed as Maidenhead but other locations are available.
Role
You will join the firm’s established Private Crime offering and manage a varied caseload of privately funded criminal matters. This will include representing clients at PACE interviews, conducting Magistrates’ Court advocacy and handling Crown Court litigation. The team specialise in regulatory cases, fraud and money laundering matters as well as historic and serious offence cases.
As a senior member of the team you will also be involved with assisting in the development and growth of the team, supporting and mentoring junior members of the team and contributing to business development initiatives.
There is scope for some home working but the role is predominantly office-based and you will be expected to attend courts and police stations across the Thames Valley.
Candidate background
Please get in touch or apply if you have at least 5 years PQE in Criminal law and representing clients at PACE interviews. You must have advocacy experience in the Magistrates Court and Crown Court.
Ideally the candidate will have Police Station Accreditation.
