This is a strategic & operational role supporting the growth and wellbeing of our diverse team of volunteers. You will lead volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, develop HR policies, and support conflict resolution and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.
* Develop and implement HR policies in line with legal and ethical standards.
* Create a volunteer engagement and recognition strategy.
* Maintain a central volunteer and HR database (with confidentiality protocols).
* Support conflict resolution, wellbeing, and team development.
* Contribute to organisational planning from a people-management perspective.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience in volunteer management, HR, or people operations (charity sector preferred).
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, data protection, and employment best practices.
* A passion for inclusion, wellbeing, and community empowerment.
* Ability to support and lead a diverse, remote team.
What will you be doing?
Oversee volunteer recruitment, engagement, and development while ensuring compliance with HR policies. Work closely with the CEO and board to foster an inclusive and productive volunteer culture aligned with our mission.
