On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager/ Senior Event Manager to take charge of the hospitality and catering operation for three prestigious sporting tournaments. This is a key role overseeing end-to-end delivery of these major events – with full accountability across planning, operations, budget control, and team coordination within the catering operation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead the complete event lifecycle of three high-profile sporting event, setting and driving the strategic direction of each event, ensuring all milestones, KPIs, and timelines are met.
* Provide leadership and clarity across all event functions – from early planning to live delivery, line managing a core team and coordinating a wider operational function across catering, logistics, hospitality, commercial, and people operations.
* Maintain alignment and momentum through structured meetings, updates, and cross-department collaboration.
* Develop and execute innovative food and beverage strategies, leveraging internal resources and supply chains.
* Oversee the full creative direction of the events – including culinary offerings, visual presentation, and equipment.
* Support all event operations: public catering, hospitality, and workforce management, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
* Own the full event budget – including forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation, ensuring all financial processes are followed, from PO management to supplier payments.
* Lead long-term event planning to ensure continuous improvement and future readiness.
* Align all delivery with broader organisational goals and values.
* Promote a strong team culture with a focus on well-being, collaboration, and professional development.
