Overview
This post holder will experience elderly trauma on our specialist fracture hip ward and also trauma, orthopaedics and spinal surgery on our Major Trauma Ward. The post will be rotational in these areas in order to gain experience and expertise in both fields with the potential to then rotate across the other wards on our trauma floor to support future service development of the Advance Nurse Practitioner team within the Trauma Directorate.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct expert professional clinical care through health assessment, initiation of treatment, formulation and alteration of treatment and monitoring of care programmes.
* Experience elderly trauma on our specialist fracture hip ward and also trauma, orthopaedics and spinal surgery on our Major Trauma Ward as part of a rotational placement to gain experience and expertise in both fields.
