Overview
Customer Assistant - Warehouse Operative (Gapton Hall, Yarmouth). Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in Operations, where you’ll help keep our store running smoothly behind the scenes. We’re looking for hardworking individuals who take pride in ensuring our products are delivered, organised, and ready for our colleagues and customers.
Note: To comply with health and safety legislation, colleagues in this role must be 18 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
* Accept deliveries, unpack goods, and prepare crates to ensure the shop floor is fully stocked
* Use in-store systems and tools to track deliveries, manage stock, and place products where they are needed
* Work with store colleagues to keep operations moving and create an inclusive environment
* Be flexible across various operational tasks and adapt to changing store needs
Requirements / Qualifications
* High levels of customer service
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent work
* Open to feedback and able to manage own workload efficiently
* Strong communication skills and adaptability to changing situations
* Good digital capability
What we offer
Working hours: Week 1 and Week 2 schedules as outlined in the original posting. The role is part-time and involves operating in a fast-paced retail environment.
