Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking to recruit a Fire Safety Advisor within the Fire Protection Business Support Team. We are seeking an innovative individual who has the skills and ability to build and maintain relationships through engagement with local businesses, regulators and trade bodies (such as the Business Improvement District, Pubwatch, CQC, HSE etc) to support our vision of creating safer communities within Nottinghamshire.
The role will focus on achieving the promotion of fire safety in the workplace, the education of compliance requirements with Fire Safety legislation in commercial premises, support in the reduction of arson-related events, and the reduction in unwanted fire signals through an education and advisory approach.
Knowledge and understanding of how cultural barriers can affect business education and working practices will be hugely beneficial.
