We're on the lookout for a Support Worker who is caring, enthusiastic, and ready to be a positive presence in the lives of adults with learning disabilities. About the Role You'll be working in one of our three well-established Kosher residential homes, all rated Good by the CQC. These homes are more than just places to live-they're warm, welcoming communities filled with fun, laughter, and purpose. No two days are the same! From supporting with day-to-day routines to joining residents on outings, activities, and appointments, you'll be helping each person live a happy, independent, and meaningful life. This Role Needs a Confident Driver You'll need to hold a full UK driving licence, as a big part of the role involves accompanying or driving residents to activities, appointments, and adventures out in the community. What You'll Be Doing: Offering personalised care and support in daily routines Helping with cooking, household tasks, and maintaining a safe, happy home Driving/accompanying residents on outings and to appointments Encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing every step of the way What You'll Need: A valid UK driving licence NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or a willingness to complete the Care Certificate with us) Great communication skills - both spoken and written A flexible, proactive attitude - able to work weekends and bank holidays Experience working with people with learning disabilities (preferred) The right to work in the UK Why Work With LJWB?
