An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our IT Test team based in Newcastle. This is a permanent role, that will support the overall test team and meet their current demands from the department and wider business.

About the role
17. This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
18. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
19. The base location for this role is Newcastle upon Tyne. Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area
What you'll do
20. Collaborating with Greggs stakeholders, developers and 3rd party systems integrators to gain full understanding of the requirements to be delivered
21. Utilising existing testing tools for full end to end test of the system
22. As part of the scrum team give test estimates for scoping, planning and execution of tests
23. Creation and execution of test scripts including running full regression tests and sharing results and risks with key stakeholders
24. Logging issues within our defect tracking tool and ensure collaboration with the team to resolution
About you
You will fit right into this role if you are:
25. Experienced in testing fundamentals including planning, scoping and building out test packs
26. Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar
27. Experience with Cloud solutions like MS Azure Services
28. Experience in mobile and web site testing
29. Experience/knowledge of automation testing and the ability to set up automated mobile/ API tests to support continuous integration/delivery
30. Knowledge\Awareness of flutter (UI Software development kit)
31. Knowledge\Awareness of SAP solutions within the retail sector but not essential
32. A strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels
33. Have proven high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
34. Have experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace
35. Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
36. Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems
