As Night Shift Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing night shift operations to ensure the smooth, efficient production of high-quality products. You’ll lead and support your team, ensuring resources and equipment are optimally utilised to meet production targets and maintain a ‘Right First-Time’ approach. You’ll also act as the key point of contact for any operational issues during the night shift.
This role is critical to maintaining site performance and embedding a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with other functions to ensure operational flexibility across engineering, logistics, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate night shift operations to meet production plans and KPIs
Champion health, safety, and environmental standards
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the team
Build strong relationships across departments and functions
Role model company values and behaviours
Ensure compliance with site processes and procedures
Manage labour planning and working time using SAP
Support training and development of team members
Conduct appraisals, return-to-work interviews, and manage attendance
About You
We’re looking for someone with proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally within FMCG. You’ll be confident managing teams, driving performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and improvement. Experience in a unionised setting is advantageous.

Strong people management and coaching skills
A proactive approach to safety and compliance
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
A continuous improvement mindset
Experience with SAP or similar systems
