Job Opportunity: Private Client Solicitor
Location: Glasgow
Overview:
A growing Scottish firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to advise on wills, Powers of Attorney, succession planning, trusts and executry administration. This role offers autonomy, direct client contact and the chance to develop expertise across a broad private client portfolio.
Role Requirements:
* Advising on wills, succession, inheritance tax and Powers of Attorney
* Managing your own caseload and meeting key deadlines
* Handling executries, trusts and Adults with Incapacity applications
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents and undertaking research
* Liaising with clients and supporting junior colleagues where needed
Experience:
* Previous private client experience (STEP qualification or working toward it welcomed)
* Confident managing files independently and within a team
Skills:
* Detail‑focused, organised and proactive
* Clear communicator with a client‑focused mindset
* Able to work effectively across varied and sensitive matters
