Job Description:
Amazon Adapt is hiring a Sr. Video Sales Specialist to service Amazon Ads’ Global Video Advertising & Partnerships organisation. This position can be located in London, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Dusseldorf or Remote (UK/DE). This person will flex to provide coverage for employee leaves of absence across Video Sales Specialist roles in the EU.
The Video Sales Specialist (VSS) is an established industry expert in streaming and video, crucial for Amazon's video advertising solutions, including Prime Video, Live Sport, Twitch, OLV, and 3P Video.
The VSS team is part of the Global Video Advertising and Partnership Team (GVAP), aiming to deliver video revenue targets by supporting vertical sales teams and promoting Amazon’s video products to drive adoption. As domain specialists, VSS provides insights, case studies, and strategic pitches tailored to UK customers. The role is customer-facing (70% of time), acting as specialists to address complex objections and empower sales through expert knowledge and strategies, fostering a deeper understanding of Amazon video products and collaborating with the GTM team to fine-tune go-to-market strategies for EU locales.
Key job responsibilities
This Adapt VSS role will be within the Amazon Adapt sales team, reporting to the Head of Adapt Global Sales and partnering with Adapt peers across Amazon Ads. The VSS primarily drives revenue through specialist knowledge and strategic initiatives, working with stakeholders including GTM, Large Customer Sales, Product, and Finance. They enable closing high-value customer deals and represent Amazon Ads Video at industry events.
A day in the life
* Act as a video ambassador and expert to customers and the Amazon Ads sales team
* Deliver pitches and strategic work to drive revenue and exceed goals
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to innovate for customers
* Use Sales CRM and other tools to track account information and sales progress
* Drive the vision of Amazon video products
* Work with GTM to develop strategies for positioning, pricing, and packaging video advertising offerings
* Gather customer and partner feedback to improve video solutions
* Engage with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs
* Represent Amazon at industry events
* Deliver training to enhance sales skills
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven experience in Streaming TV sales and/or business development
* Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders
* Experience deploying GTM strategies focusing on packaging, positioning, and messaging
* Ability to close sales and generate revenue with a focus on customer outcomes
* Handling customer objections and offering solutions
* Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
* Analytical skills and confidence with data
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent

* Experience working in a product-facing role or with product teams
* Ability to develop product and sales strategies for market positioning
* Experience selling new products/services
* Skills in metrics, data management, and process creation
