About The Role
We are looking for a Security Officer to join our Security team at our Howden site. The position follows a 12-hour 4 on 4 off shift pattern, rotating both day shifts (6:00 to 18:00) and night shifts (18:00 to 6:00).
Essential Requirements
* SIA/CCTV licence is required
* Driving licence is required
Salary: £35,820.00
Main Responsibilities
* Checking visitors, deliveries and contractors in and out of site
* Acting as a visual deterrent, patrolling and securing the site
* Preventing and investigating acts of theft, criminal damage and breaches of site policy
* Responding to incidents and alarms both on and off site
* Operating a multitude of security and access control systems from CCTV to electrical fencing
* Conducting personnel and vehicle searches as required
* Carrying out advanced first aid / FPOS and drug and alcohol testing as required (full certificated training provided)
* Producing reports on day-to-day operations and irregularities, escalating to management as required
About You
Desired Skills & Knowledge
* First Aid and Fire Marshal training are desirable but not essential
* SIA/CCTV licence is required
* Computer literate
* Flexible, committed and punctual
* Driving licence is essential
