EYFS Teacher/ EYFS Phase Lead (full time permanent post) – MPS/UPS + TLR 2a
Required for January 2026. The Headteacher and Governors are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS teacher/ EYFS Phase Lead at our happy and successful Infant school.
Responsibilities
* Be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to promote high standards of learning
* Assess and record the progress of pupils’ learning to inform next steps and monitor progress
* Create stimulating and effective learning environments both indoors and outdoors
* Deploy a wide range of effective behaviour management strategies successfully
* Teach using a variety of strategies to maximise achievement for all pupils including those with special educational needs and high achievers
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as (and lead) a large team
* Have a sound understanding of the delivery of a synthetic phonics programme and work collaboratively with the Phonics lead
* Monitor teaching and learning across the school and inspire improvement
* Work alongside SLT to strategically support a dedicated group of staff
* Empower staff to deliver a high-quality play-based curriculum that achieves high standards
Qualifications and Requirements
* At least 5 years of teaching experience
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and KS1 National Curriculum and assessment
* Current experience in leading a subject/area of responsibility
* Passionate about young children’s learning
* Outstanding classroom practitioner
* All applicants must hold relevant teaching qualifications
