Role purpose:
Provide a professional repair to a variety of hardware and peripherals within SCC Repair Centre.
Security clearance or the willingness to apply is required for this role.
Key responsibilities:
6. To assist the Management teams in the daily running of the operation, through the above and any other duties as necessary.
7. Diagnose and repair devices such as but not limited to, PC’s, Laptops, Printers, retail equipment etc.
8. Ability to repair devices at component level.
9. Capable of supporting other departments as and when required.
10. Update relevant business systems to the required standards and in line with agreed processes.
11. Be compliant with management system policies, company policies & guidelines and take responsibility for health & safety in the workplace.
12. To be approachable and accepting of Training requirements in relation to the role and operation.
13. To maintain the skills and knowledge required within the team to perform the role to the required standard.
14. Ability to handle equipment of varying weights and sizes, in line with manual handling guidelines and training provided.
15. Must be able to embrace new technologies and adapt to change.
16. To undertake Health and Safety activities commensurate with post and or SCC Group Health and Safety Policy.
Skills and experience:
17. Careful and precise handling of equipment to ensure high quality repairs.
18. Experience in electronics repair or technical maintenance environment.
19. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
20. Accreditations to repair Tier Product repairs HP/Lenovo & Dell.
21. Ability to identify and resolve faults using standard diagnostic tools.
