1. Rack n stack of active network hardware, switches, routers & servers
2. Understand and follow patching schedule/cut sheet.
3. Installing power and data connection cables within server & networking racks.
4. Follow instructions and providing on-site support to remote network and systems administrators.
5. Read & follow Rack Elevation Diagrams
6. Apply basic IP Addressing under instruction/direction.
7. Installing and configuring UPS systems (Desirable)
8. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely deployments.
9. Follow all safety procedures, industry standards, and environmental guidelines during field operations.
Qualifications
10. Must be very familiar with working in a Data Centre
11. Good understanding of various Structured Cabling Solutions
12. Capable of installing & Testing Fibre Optic cables
13. Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and high attention to detail.
14. OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certification preferred but not required.
Skills
15. Experience working in high performanceputing (HPC) or hyperscale data centre environments.
16. Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), remote monitoring tools, or facility controls.
17. Strongmunication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
18. Ability to work to driven targets and SLA and time management skills.
