About the Role
As a Senior Clinical Fellow, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality emergency care across the three hospital sites.
You’ll work alongside consultants, registrars, and the wider emergency team to assess, resuscitate, and manage acutely ill and injured patients in a fast-paced environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the assessment and management of emergency cases
- Supervising and teaching junior medical staff and nurses
- Actively contributing to departmental audits, clinical governance, and service improvement
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and proactive patient management
- Playing a central role in maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety
- You’ll work on a full shift rota (including days, nights, and weekends), averaging 48 hours per week, with built-in cover for annual and study leave.
About You
You are a confident, compassionate clinician with strong leadership and teamwork skills. You thrive in challenging, fast-paced environments and are committed to providing the best care possible to every patient.
Essential Requirements:
- Full GMC registration and MBBS or equivalent
- MRCEM
- Minimum ST3+ level experience in Emergency Medicine or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience in acute and emergency care
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- ALS, ATLS, APLS, or PALS certification
