An established provider of environmental and drainage services is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee utility and drainage projects. This role involves managing on-site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. It is well suited to someone with strong leadership skills and experience within drainage or utilities environments.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Supervise site teams delivering drainage and utility projects
6. Support planning and coordination of project work
7. Manage materials, orders, and site deliveries
8. Organise work schedules and site activities
9. Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards
10. Maintain compliance with relevant safety regulations and procedures
11. Report project progress and site issues to management
12. Delegate tasks and coordinate team activities on-site
13. Attend site and operational meetings as required
The Successful Candidate:
14. Experience within drainage, utilities, or similar environments
15. Strong leadership and team management skills
16. Good planning and organisational ability
17. Effective communication skills
18. Awareness of health and safety procedures
19. Ability to problem-solve and manage site challenges
20. Commercial awareness when working with clients
21. Project management experience (desirable)
Essential Requirements:
22. Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
Desirable Qualifications:
23. SSSTS (Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme)
24. CSCS card (Skilled or Black preferred)
25. Relevant Level 3, 4 or 5 qualification
