The role
As Fleet Programmes Risk and Change Control Manager, you’ll lead the Risk and Change Controls disciplines within the Fleet Operations Directorate. You will provide Risk management leadership for the site and be accountable for the performance and results of these functions within the Babcock Role Framework Project Management role family. This is an area manager role within the central hub of the Fleet Operations project and operations matrix model, ensuring alignment with Group policy and Business Contractual requirements.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:
* Leadership of Fleet Operations Risk and Change Control Management
* Fleet Operations Business and Customer Interface for Risk and Change
* Internal assurance activities including audits to advance continuous improvement
* Management and Delivery of Fleet Operations Risk and Change Policy
* Application of Babcock’s Principles in people and stakeholder management
This role is full time, 36 hours per week, based mainly in Faslane with hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of Fleet Programmes Risk and Change Control
* Extensive Risk and Change Control knowledge and experience
* Hold a professional project qualification such as APM (PMQ) or Prince 2
* Hold membership of a relevant body (RICS, CIOB, CIBSE, APM, PMI)
* Hold a level 5 or above Leadership and Management qualification
Qualifications for the Fleet Programmes Risk and Change Control
* Degree BSc – Business Degree (finance, accountancy, or other relevant subject) or equivalent
* Significant experience with responsibility for control functions of major projects
* Chartered or working towards chartered status with a relevant body
* APM Project Management Qualification
* APM Project Professional Qualification
* APMG Earned Value Management Practitioner
Security Clearance
