About the Job
The Senior Producer will work closely with the creative team to develop project strategies, assess feasibility, and manage resources effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing production approaches and strategies for new projects.
* Collaborating with creative leads to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Mitigating problems and finding solutions.
* Sourcing and managing external suppliers, including building production teams and experts.
* Hiring, onboarding, and line-managing freelance resources as needed.
* Working with third-party consultants to deliver projects on scope and budget.
* Fostering strong internal relationships and supporting junior team members.
* Managing business affairs documents and legal sign-offs.
* Negotiating contracts with talent agencies.
* Completing final budget reconciliations.
* Serving as the client-facing production expert.
* Briefing creative teams on project requirements.
* Overseeing all aspects of production, from pre-production to post-production.
* Making informed decisions and escalating when necessary.
* Ensuring adherence to environmental and purchasing policies.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in production, with a focus on football a significant advantage.
* A robust network of industry contacts, including freelance crew, creative teams, photographers, studios, and agents.
* Strong technical production skills, including knowledge of standard APA crew rates and legal responsibilities.
* Experience mentoring and managing junior team members.
* A proven track record of delivering projects within agreed budget parameters.
* Experience producing and line-producing international productions.
* Skilled negotiation with agents.
* Previous experience with 3D, VFX, and Animation highly desirable.
* High-profile talent management experience highly desirable.
* Organizational, analytical, and process-driven approach.
* Agility and adaptability under pressure.
* A team player, willing to roll up sleeves when needed.
* Calm and composed under pressure.
* Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity.
* An expert in all aspects of production.
* Comfortable working with complex projects and deliverables.
* Experienced with budgets up to £1m.
* Prioritization of culture outside work, bringing diverse perspectives.
* Interest in sports and fashion highly desirable.
* A portfolio of high-quality film and photographic content.
* Experience working with main football account an advantage.
