Ref: CB2152 Location: Chippenham Details This role is to support a Woman The candidate should be a woman* Drivers licence required: Yes Own vehicle needed: Yes Employment status: Employed or Self-employed Hours per week: 6 hours per week to be split over 2 or 3 days Hourly pay rate: £14.40 - A kind, patient and reliable Personal Assistant is wanted to support a friendly young woman who has autism. She may be quiet when meeting someone new, but once she feels comfortable she becomes very chatty and enjoys good conversation. She loves Harry Potter, Galaxy chocolate and getting out in the community on her mobility scooter. You will support her 6 hours per week, ideally spread over 2–3 days. Tasks may include: - Helping with household cleaning and organising - Supporting with administration, such as opening post, reading emails & form filling - Accompanying her to access the community - Going swimming together - Going for short trips or walks using her mobility scooter We are looking for someone who is: - Kind, patient and understanding - Able to communicate clearly and build trust at a comfortable pace - Reliable and respectful - Happy to support with both practical tasks and social activities - Experience supporting autistic people is helpful but not essential — the right approach and attitude are most important.
