About the Role:
We are looking for amitted and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Sefton, working within their dedicated SEN base. This role involves supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning and develop essential skills in a nurturing environment.Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to pupils within the SEN base, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
2. Assist with implementing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
3. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff.
4. Promote positive behaviour and inclusion.
Requirements:
5. Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential.
6. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications (, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN-specific training) are desirable.
7. Strongmunication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
