At Vision for Education, we’re looking for compassionate, patient, and motivated SEN 1:1 Support Assistants to work closely with pupils who have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) in schools across Plymouth. You’ll provide tailored, one-to-one support for children with a range of additional needs—including Autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges —helping them feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed. What You’ll Be Doing: Personalised 1:1 Support – Help pupils grow academically and emotionally by working closely with them in line with their EHCPs. Team Collaboration – Work with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to adapt strategies that truly support each learner. Positive Behaviour Support – Use trauma-informed, positive behaviour techniques to help children feel calm, safe, and focused. Progress Monitoring – Keep accurate records of each child’s progress and share insights with the wider team. Foster Inclusion – Create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, heard, and included.
