Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre, enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our Clinical Effectiveness and Assurance team on a 12 month fixed term secondment basis. Secondment will be considered for internal candidates - If you are successful after interview, you must obtain approval from your current line manager to accept the offer. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal which they will use to liaise with a wide range of professionals across the organisation. The role will also incorporate responsibilities for supporting the Clinical Effectiveness Co-ordinators, Assurance Manager and Head of Clinical Effectiveness and Assurance in developing policies, procedures, guidelines and infrastructure systems, to ensure the organisation is able to meet its statutory and regulatory and NHS requirements.


Responsibilities

* The role will incorporate responsibilities for supporting the Clinical Effectiveness Co-ordinators, Assurance Manager and Head of Clinical Effectiveness and Assurance in developing policies, procedures, guidelines and infrastructure systems, to ensure the organisation is able to meet its statutory and regulatory and NHS requirements.
* The ideal candidate will provide high leveladministrative support to the Clinical Effectiveness and Assurance team to ensure an effective service is provided.
* Other responsibilities include working closely with the Resuscitation team to collect data required to comply with the requirements of the National Cardiac Arrest Audit.


Qualifications

* We are seeking a highly competent and experienced person with a high level of interpersonal, organisational and administration skills to be our Clinical Effectiveness and Assurance Support Officer.
* The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working within an administrative role in a busy environment supporting teams in the delivery of their work programmes.
* A flexible working pattern is needed to coincide with the accessibility of healthcare professionals.
* The ideal candidate will have an NVQ3 inbusiness administration or equivalent.
* A sound knowledge of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook, isrequired in order to support the delivery of the work programmes.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team to inspire trust andconfidence is essential.
