We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and client-focused Residential Property Lawyer to join our successful team in Cambridge.
Our Residential Property team provides legal advice on a wide range of non-contentious, residential property matters including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, voluntary first registrations, and lease extensions.
They work closely as a team, sharing work and knowledge to meet our clients' high standards.
We pride ourselves on the excellent level of service we provide through bespoke advice and attention to detail. Building strong relationships with our clients and understanding their specific needs is central to our work. Each transaction is supported by a dedicated lawyer and support assistant, ensuring efficient and personalized service. Our manageable caseloads allow us to complete most transactions faster than the national average.
We operate electronically, and remote working is possible and sometimes encouraged, though we ask for at least 3 days in the office per week, considering team and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advise on various issues within Residential Property transactional work.
2. Deliver exceptional client service.
3. Contribute positively to a dynamic team.
4. Maintain and develop knowledge of Residential Property issues, sharing insights with colleagues.
5. Identify and develop referral opportunities internally and externally, actively participating in business development.
About You:
* Ideally a 2+ PQE Solicitor, CILEX lawyer, or Licensed Conveyancer.
* Strong background in residential property.
* Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
* Excellent teamworking and client management skills.
* Strong technical and drafting skills.
* Commercial awareness and proactive attitude.
* Organized, ambitious, with keen attention to detail.
