Are you an organised and detail-focused HR professional looking for your next opportunity? We're looking for a proactive HR Coordinator to join our People Services team on a fixed-term basis, playing a vital role in supporting the full employee lifecycle.
The HR Coordinator will work on a fixed term contract to support the team for between 3-6 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a fast-paced HR environment where your work will directly support managers, leaders and employees across the organisation.
As HR Coordinator, you'll deliver accurate and timely HR administrative support, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience for colleagues from recruitment through to onboarding and beyond. You'll be at the heart of our operations, maintaining essential records, supporting recruitment processes, and helping ensure we meet all legal and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing starters, leavers and contractual changes with precision and efficiency
* Coordinating end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including safer recruitment checks
* Supporting onboarding, interview scheduling and candidate communications
* Ensuring all pre‑employment checks (DBS, right to work, references, etc.) are completed
* Maintaining accurate HR records and systems in line with GDPR and audit requirements
* Supporting probation processes and employee lifecycle administration
* Assisting with learning and development activities and wider HR initiatives
* Contributing to continuous improvement projects within People Services
What We're Looking For
* Strong administrative experience within a busy HR environment
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
* Confidence working with HR systems and Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of HR processes and UK employment legislation (or a willingness to learn quickly)
* The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
