Are you a compassionate and experienced nurse ready to lead and coordinate high-quality palliative care services for children and young people? Join our dedicated team at East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) as a Care Manager at our Milton hospice .
As a Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of outstanding palliative care services. Working alongside another Care Manager and reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead a team of Team Leaders and care professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and support for children, young people, and their families.
Are you:
* A Registered Nurse (Child) or equivalent with experience in children’s palliative care.
* An excellent communicator and problem-solver.
* Organised with strong time management skills.
Do you have:
* Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
* The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
* Strong understanding of clinical governance and safeguarding.
* A current full, valid driving license and access to transport.
Responsibilities include:
* Oversee the delivery of care services and manage daily operations.
* Lead and support Team Leaders and care coordination teams.
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards and contribute to service development.
* Manage rotas, on-call arrangements, and resource allocation.
* Support recruitment, induction, and staff development.
* Collaborate with external partners and represent EACH at key meetings.
* Participate in quality assurance, audits, and safeguarding processes
