The Role
Are you an experienced Talent and Development Lead and interested to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract? You will ensure continuity of core talent and development activities while driving several high-priority projects to build our leadership pipeline, strengthen organisational capability, and enhance the employee experience. Working in close partnership with HR Business Partners and business leaders, you will lead the annual Talent Review and Succession Planning process, oversee mandatory training delivery, coordinate technical and soft skills workshops, and ensure follow-through on talent and succession outcomes. You will also play a pivotal role in shaping and facilitating development programmes for leaders and managers across the business.
Alongside ongoing responsibilities, you will take ownership of projects to future-proof our talent agenda, such as implementing a skills bank and training needs assessment, ensuring all team members are AI literate, and developing sustainable approaches to manager and leadership development. You will also review and advance our leadership competency framework, ensuring it reflects our culture and strategic ambitions. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic insight with hands-on delivery, thrives in a fast-paced, international environment, and is passionate about building capability at all levels.
Desirable Skills
* Proven expertise in Talent, Learning & Development, or Organisational Development within international or matrix organisations.
* Strong facilitation and workshop design skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
* AI literate / passionate, and experienced in implementing or optimising Learning Management Systems or talent technology platforms.
* Ability to translate training needs analysis into practical, impactful development solutions.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and partner with senior leaders.
