We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
* Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or domiciliary care setting is preferred.
* Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* A valid driving licence and a car is eseential.
* Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using relevant software.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
