Job Description
As a Corporate Recoveries Litigation Specialist, you will play a key role in managing legal costs and ensuring efficient litigation processes. Your expertise will help us maintain cost efficiency, ensure the right outcomes and optimise how we work with external legal partners.
As a Corporate Recoveries Litigation Specialist, we are looking for someone to:
11. Ensure legal costs are necessary, proportionate, and aligned with business priorities
12. Select and manage external legal firms effectively, ensuring instructions are properly scoped and cost-benefit assessed
13. Identify opportunities to bring legal work in-house and streamline recovery processes
14. Challenge excessive costs and maintain robust oversight to ensure compliance with internal standards
Qualifications
Essential
15. Experience of the recoveries legal process for real estate within a bank or specialist lender
16. Highly pragmatic and practical, with a strong common sense commercial balance alongside a strong risk focus
17. Experienced in managing conflict with 3rd parties and stakeholders alike to deliver a win win situation
18. Strong analytical skills to evaluate cost-benefit scenarios
19. Excellent negotiation skills
20. Ability to work collaboratively and make informed decisions under pressure
