This is your opportunity to join a small, independent specialist school designed specifically for children with communication difficulties typically associated with Autism spectrum conditions. This warm and welcoming school is currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their team ASAP. This role is needed due to a current member of the team retiring after 25 years. The school has on-site facilities including a kitchen, a fully equipped music room and an outside space with a trim trail and an on-site Forest School. The setting supports 85+ pupils aged 4 to 16 years and offers a tailored 1:1 education in a calm and nurturing environment.
This position is full time, Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30pm. Full training will be provided and you will have immediate access to free and fully funded qualifications. The school and team are invested in the staff's futures as well as the learners.

Requirements
* Relevant SEN experience
* Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities
* Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
* Supporting learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
