Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Operations
* Manage end-to-end accounting processes across assigned countries
* Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and general ledger entries
* Perform account and bank reconciliations
* Manage payroll and expense processes
* Lead monthly and annual closing and reporting
* Perform intercompany reconciliations
* Ensure reporting to relevant local authorities
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
* Support tax and VAT processes in collaboration with local partners
* Contribute to local audits within area of responsibility
* Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements
* Identify knowledge gaps and proactively drive competence development in local regulations
Group Finance & Business Support
* Act as Group Finance's local representative
* Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures
* Contribute to continuous improvement, streamlining, and automation of financial systems and processes
* Provide local financial input for budgeting and cash flow planning
* Support local management and business units on finance, accounting, and payroll matters
* Proactively flag non-compliance or out-of-policy spending
Desired skills and experience:
* 3+ years of working experience in a similar role.
* Solid experience with accounting.
* Currently pursuing ACCA or CIMA qualification (part-qualified).
* Working experience in an international environment is a plus.
* Strong technical proficiency, including advanced Excel skills and experience with at least one ERP system.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
* Interest in understanding business systems and how they integrate to support efficient financial operations.
* Professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
