We are currently looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Pre-Contracts Manager to join our design and build company, ODCreate, securing desirable projects, and growing and mentoring our front-end team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support the pre-contracts function for ODCreate.
* Work with the Senior Team to drive new business for ODCreate, continually reviewing our tender strategy for best positioning within the market.
* Improve, develop and implement ODCreate tendering and pre-contracts standards in alignment with overarching ODGroup standards, process and procedures.
* Assist the Commercial Manager and Group Commercial Director with setting company level commercial strategy for delivery phase.
* Diversify our supply chain and cultivate strong subcontractor relationships.
* Create tiered supply chain for achieving job efficiencies on pricing.
* Create cost plan rates matrix to achieve budget cost for project for all disciplines.
* Drive continuous improvement with regard to working practices, efficiencies, driving value, etc.
* Report to ODGroup Board on ODCreate commercial position, in conjunction with the leadership team.
* Empower your team to work independently and achieve high standards across everything they do.
* Attend weekly group sales meeting to facilitate resource planning when required.
* Investigate, develop and champion new and more efficient processes (and potentially a new system) for pre-contracts and commercial management.
* Work with the leadership team to grow ODCreate turnover and GP year on year in line with targets.
