12-month fixed term contract, 37 hours per week We are changing our approach to property inspections, and we are looking for a Surveyor to us in this exciting new role. Responsible for comprehensive property health checks, this role will involve inspecting the structural, electrical, heating, ventilation, insulation and general safety elements of our domestic properties. Our next Surveyor will not only have the property inspection knowledge but a truly customer centric approach to their work. The customer experience and engagement during the survey will be to the highest standard, ensuring the needs of the customer, and their household are met and considered as part of the appraisal and recommendations. About You With an understanding of the Decent Homes Standard and experience in residential property inspections, you will be competent in identifying hazards in the home and ensuring that the home is returned to a good, safe standard. Qualified to ONC/HNC or equivalent, or with demonstrable experience in Building Surveying, you will have worked in a customer focused environment and have a genuine empathy with the purpose of housing associations. Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence with access to your own car or alternative transport is required.
