Bright Selection are delighted to represent a well‑established and expanding provider within the elderly care sector, who is seeking a passionate and experienced Learning and Development partner to support the development of teams across a number of residential services in the South East.

This is a field‑based position requiring regular travel between services, making a full UK driving licence essential.
The Role
This role will focus on delivering impactful training and supporting staff development across multiple care settings. You will play a key part in ensuring employees are confident, competent, and aligned with best practice and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate engaging induction programmes for new starters, supporting their transition into care roles.
* Deliver a range of mandatory and refresher training sessions in line with compliance requirements.
* Assess staff competencies and provide constructive feedback to support ongoing development.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to roll out additional or specialist learning initiatives.
* Maintain accurate training records and ensure all activity meets regulatory and organisational standards.
* Stay informed of sector developments, ensuring training content remains current and relevant.
* Coordinate training logistics across sites, including preparation of materials and learning environments.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of training delivery and resources.
* Act as a positive ambassador for high‑quality, person‑centred care practices.
About You
* Hold a recognised training/teaching qualification (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education & Training or equivalent).
* Certified to deliver Manual Handling and Care Certificate training.
* Confident delivering training to groups with varying experience levels.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Comfortable using IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
* Previous experience within health and social care is essential.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly.
