Housekeeper – Ambleside Manor

Location: Ambleside, Lake District
Hours: Flexible – 15 to 35 hours per week (including weekends)

Ambleside Manor is a 15-bedroom vegetarian guest house set within a beautiful Victorian property in the heart of the Lake District. Operated by the long-established Zeffirellis Group, the Manor offers a calm and welcoming environment with a strong focus on cleanliness, comfort and guest experience.
As part of a new staffing structure, we are now recruiting multiple Housekeepers to build a dedicated housekeeping team.
About the Role
This position focuses exclusively on housekeeping duties. You will work as part of a small team responsible for:
Guest Bedrooms & Bathrooms
* Cleaning and preparing bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms to a consistently high standard
* Changing bed linen and replenishing amenities
* Polishing fixtures, mirrors and surfaces
* Completing final presentation checks before guest arrival
Public Areas
* Maintaining main communal spaces
* Cleaning corridors and shared areas
* Supporting laundry organisation
Rooms are shared across the team. This is not a single-person role covering the entire property.
Working Pattern
* Flexible hours available (part-time or near full-time)
* Weekend availability required
* Additional hours available during busy periods
