Logistics Administrator Location: Cheshunt, Herts | Office-based for the probation period (6 months) Hybrid working then may be considered I represent a client in Cheshunt Herts who are a client within the FMCG industry who work globally. This role would suit someone with logistics experience and strong/advanced Excel skills who is eager to become part of a busy, collaborative team within a fast-moving organisation. You will work closely with the Logistics Manager, Assistant Manager, and wider Logistics team to deliver a high level of service to both internal and external customers. Whats in it for you Salary: £28,000 Hours: 9:00am 5:30pm (office based) Holiday: 22 days, increasing to 27 with length of service, plus an additional 1.5 days between Christmas and New Year Pension scheme Private healthcare (after successful completion of probation) Death in service benefit Fresh fruit provided weekly Key Responsibilities Assist the logistics team and other departments to ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time Match invoices to supporting documentation and forward for processing Log, track, and monitor all shipments Proactively communicate any shipment delays or discrepancies to relevant stakeholders Support transport planning by maintaining accurate data within internal systems Process sales invoices and ensure all related documentation is accurate and correctly filed Update in-house systems in line with day-to-day business practices Liaise with internal departments including Sales, Supply Chain, and Accounts to ensure smooth flow of goods and documentation Adhere to all Food Safety, Legality, and Quality requirements in line with company policies Support colleagues and other departments as required What the Employer Is Looking For Proven administration experience with at least 1 years logistics experience, or a highly driven individual willing to learn Knowledge of EU and non-EU import/export processes (advantageous but not essential) Strong Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel capability (essential) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to short-notice changes Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Proactive with the ability to work using own initiative Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Flexible approach to work Excellent organisational and customer service skills
