Engineering Manager - Fully Remote (UK) - £120k
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing squad building scalable microservices in a fast-growing fintech environment. This is a great role if you enjoy leading from the front, growing teams, and shaping how engineering gets done, not just managing from the sidelines.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading a squad of engineers, working closely with Product
* Supporting and developing your team (line management + mentoring)
* Driving delivery while keeping quality high
* Helping shape architecture and engineering best practices
* Continuously improving how the team works
You’ll have a big say in how things are built and how the team evolves.
What we’re looking for
* Experience managing engineering teams
* Strong software engineering background
* Comfortable working in agile environments (and improving them)
* Someone who can balance delivery with long-term thinking
* Great communicator — able to bridge tech, product, and stakeholders
Nice to have
* Experience in fintech or financial products
* Background in start-ups or scale-ups
