Overview
The Broker Manager role is vital to the continued growth of the company. You\'ll be responsible for managing a national team of freelance brokers. Providing support, training, and strategic guidance to help them succeed, while driving performance, compliance, and commercial results across the network as well as managing your own book of clients.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support a network of freelance/self-employed finance brokers
* Provide regular coaching, product training, and deal structuring support
* Ensure adherence to company processes, FCA compliance, and quality standards
* Act as a central point of contact for broker queries and escalations
* Monitor individual and network-wide performance against targets
* Build strong relationships with lenders to support broker activity
* Report to senior leadership on team performance and growth opportunities
* Manage own book of clients
Qualifications
* Proven managerial experience in financial services
* Strong knowledge of UK lending finance products
* Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
* A self-starter who can manage a distributed team and drive results remotely
* Good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance processes
* Comfortable using Salesforce, digital tools, and reporting software
* Commercially minded with a passion for supporting people and growing a business
